What does Notif add to Apple Reminders?
Your reminders stay in Apple Reminders, on all your devices. Notif adds two things to each note: an Insight worth knowing and an Action Button for the next step
Notif and Apple Reminders, side by side
Is Notif free?
Yes. Free gets every note, widgets, Siri and sync, and one Insight a day. Notif Pro puts an Insight on every note and adds smarter Action Buttons, encrypted private notes and a plan for your day: $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year, cancel any time
What is Insight?
Something worth knowing, added to your note: a place’s hours, a deadline, or rain on the day you planned for
What is the Action Button?
The next step, ready to tap. Call a contact, get directions, link to a site or open the app, right from the note. It opens the app you already use, like Uber Eats, Uber or Kindle, and remembers your pick
How are notes private?
Your notes live in your own Apple Reminders and are never stored on our servers. Only the note getting its Insight is sent to our server, never the rest. On Pro, the daily plan sends the first lines of a few open notes and the day’s busy times to Apple’s Private Cloud Compute, never to our server, and never a private note. With Pro you can mark a note Private. Private notes are encrypted on your iPhone with AES-256 and opened with Face ID. They stay out of Apple Reminders, off your widgets and out of iPhone search, and their alerts never show their words
What happens on a new iPhone?
Private notes come with you through iCloud Keychain. Keep it on in Settings, or a new iPhone can’t open them
Do I need an account?
No. No sign-up and no login. Stop paying and everything stays in your own Reminders
Which devices does Notif work on?
iPhone with iOS 18 or later, iPad with iPadOS 18 or later, and iPhone Duo. Every note is a reminder, so it is in Apple Reminders on your other Apple devices too
Does Notif use Apple Intelligence?
Yes, on iPhones and iPads that have it. It reads each note you write right on your device, to find its date, its place and what kind of note it is. With Pro on iOS 27, it also makes your plan for the day: each morning, what to do first, around your calendar
How do you say Notif?
NO-tif, like the start of notification, which it’s short for
